Dr. Denis Benjamin to Speak at our March Meeting.

Wednesday, March 9th: Membership meeting starts at 7:30 PM. Meeting location: Everett Housing Building, 1401 Poplar Street, Everett. Guest Speaker: Dr. Denis R Benjamin. Topic: Human Uses of Mushrooms - An Ethnomycological Journey. Dr. Benjamin will illustrate the various and diverse uses mushrooms play in many cultures around the world, throughout history and at the present time. These include food, medicine, dyes, fire starter, aphrodisiacs and spiritual.

Paul Stamets to Talk at Evergreen College on April 14th.

This event will take place on Thursday, April 14th in the Longhouse on the Evergreen campus. Doors open at 6:30pm and Paul will lecture at 7pm. You are invited to set up an informational table for your group at no cost . Other community groups will be present and Paul will sign books after his lecture. The event is free for Evergreen students and $5 for everyone else.
